Service terms and data handling

What you are buying
Founder Forge is a bounded professional service for proof structure, technical and commercial framing, artifact planning, and positioning. The scope is the tier and amount shown in your Founder Forge quote and Stripe checkout. Founder Forge does not provide legal advice, financial advice, investment advice, compliance certification, guaranteed fundraising, guaranteed customer acquisition, or a guarantee that any technical or scientific claim is true.
Payment, tax, and kickoff
Founder Forge engagements are paid in advance through Stripe. The quoted service price is before any tax Stripe is required to calculate at checkout. Payment reserves the quoted engagement, but work begins only after Oak & Sparrow confirms the scope and kickoff by email. If we determine before substantive work begins that the requested engagement cannot be performed within the purchased scope, we will offer an adjusted scope or refund the affected purchase.
Scope changes and turnaround
The quote is based on the intake provided at the time it was generated. Materially different facts, additional deliverables, open-ended implementation, or work outside the purchased tier can require a new quote. Fast and emergency options purchase priority handling, not an unconditional delivery-time guarantee. We confirm the delivery target at kickoff. If we cannot support the purchased priority, we will resolve that with you before substantive work begins.
Cancellations and refunds
Before substantive work begins, contact us promptly if you need to cancel. After substantive work has begun, fees are generally non-refundable because the service is time-based professional work, except where required by law or where Oak & Sparrow cannot perform the agreed scope. A Stripe checkout return page by itself is not proof of payment; our payment record is authoritative.
Your material and our methods
You represent that you have the right to share the material you submit. You retain ownership of your pre-existing material. Oak & Sparrow retains its pre-existing methods, frameworks, templates, software, models, and intellectual property. Once the purchased engagement is paid, you may use the custom deliverable prepared for your project, subject to any third-party rights identified in that deliverable.
Data handling
Founder Forge uses the information you enter to calculate the quote and generate the working brief. Your contact details and limited quote metadata may be sent to Oak & Sparrow for follow-up. The claim text itself is not included in that lead notification. When the configured model-assisted brief path is available, intake text may be processed by Oak & Sparrow's configured model provider to draft the brief under the deterministic proof ceiling. Do not submit passwords, credentials, payment-card data, protected health information, regulated personal data, or third-party confidential material unless a separate written arrangement authorizes that handling.
Confidentiality and security boundary
We treat non-public project material as project information and use it to perform the engagement. Founder Forge is not a secure data room, regulated records repository, or substitute for a separate confidentiality, data-processing, or security agreement when one is required. If your work requires those controls, contact us before submitting the material.
